Overview
Si tienes un sitio web B2B de Orderbot, necesitarás completar estos ajustes antes de que tu producto pueda ser visto y comprado. These settings determine whether your website checks available inventory, allows customer backorders, and displays availability dates for backordered products.
Instructions
Manage Product Visibility
Navigate to Home Products >Products on Web>Manage Product Visibility.
Select the website whose visibility settings you want to update.
Set your filters if needed, or click Search to view all products.
- Category – Filters by one category at a time.
- Group – Filters by one group at a time. A category must be selected first.
- Name or SKU – Filters by individual product name or SKU.
Set the visibility for each product using the radio buttons:
- Not Visible – Product will not be displayed on the website. Default for new products.
- Out of Stock (Not Visible) – Product is treated as out of stock and hidden.
- Out of Stock (Visible) – Product remains visible but cannot be purchased if quantity is less than 1.*
- Out of Stock (Available On) – Allows backorders with an expected availability date. This date appears on the product page and order confirmation. The ship date for backorders defaults to this future date.
- Gen Separate BO – Enables backordered products to be placed on a separate order for partial fulfillment.
If Do not check inventory is enabled, the Out of Stock (Visible) option allows purchases regardless of availability.
Note: 'Available' inventory is calculated as Onhand - TBS = Available. 'Onhand' is the physical inventory, and 'TBS' (To Be Shipped) includes all units currently allocated to orders.
Click Update to save your changes.
Product Profile – Website Settings
You can also configure visibility settings from the product profile under Website Settings.
- Go to Products Product Management Manage Products and locate your product.
- Scroll to Web Settings and expand the section.
- Depending on your B2B template, various fields may be editable, including Product Visibility.
Pasos Adicionales
If the product still does not appear on your website after the above steps, check the following:
- Order Guide Pricing – Products must be in an order guide to be visible. You can create multiple lists for different customer groups.
- Shop By – Products must be added to the "Shop By" menu via CMS Shop By.
- Parent Settings – Child products must also have order guide pricing set to be visible.
