This guide is for clients who have an integration with a warehouse, have sent orders, and would like to receive the response from their warehouse.
These steps cover how to bring in information from your warehouse on shipped orders, including tracking numbers. Different companies use different terms for this, but you'll generally hear terms like ship confirm or shipping response.
This process imports a file from your warehouse. The file usually contains a list of order IDs and tracking numbers, though it will depend on the setup of your warehouse integration. If an order is listed in this file, Orderbot automatically updates the orders with their tracking information and marks them as shipped.
Retrieving Shipping Information from the Warehouse
- Go to Fulfillment > Manage Shipping Response.
- Click Get Ship Confirm.
- Select the file and click IMPORT button. This may take a few moments depending on how many orders there are.
Note: For some warehouses, you may see a date range instead of a list of files. Just select a relevant date range and click submit. The date range can include days in the past that you've already brought in shipping information for - Orderbot will automatically filter out any information that's already been imported.
Orderbot then imports the information and then displays the following info for the updated orders:

Looking Up Old Information
After you've retrieved the ship confirm, you can look up all orders that have been been updated.
- Go to Fulfillment > Manage Shipping Response.
- Click Look up old files.
- Select a date range and click Submit . If you would like to see all files, leave date fields blank. To see the most recent files, select today's date in the second date field.
- To view a file select the file and click View button.
The green check mark means the message was send, red X means it was not. You can resend the messages from this screen using Re-send email button.
IMPORTANT:Once you import an order, its status within Orderbot is automatically changed from TO BE SHIPPED to SHIPPED.
