You can only delete unpaid, unshipped orders. For shipped orders, you can unship them first before deleting them. For paid orders, use the status Do Not Ship instead. See this guide on changing order status.
- Go to Orders > View Orders.
- Search for your order.
- Click the trashcan to delete.
If you see a red lock instead of a trashcan, that means that this order cannot be deleted because it is either shipped or paid.
Examples:
This is an unpaid order. (You can tell because the $ sign is red.) It can be deleted using the trashcan icon.
This is a paid order. (Its $ sign is green.) It cannot be deleted, as indicated by the lock icon.
Undeleting an Order
If you accidentally deleted an order and would like to undelete it, follow these steps.
- Go to Orders > View Orders.
- On the right-hand side, there is a list of statuses. Uncheck all statuses except for Deleted.
- Click Submit to search for your order.
- Click the Undelete .
- The page will refresh and your order will be gone–this is because you're still filtering by deleted orders. Do a search by the default statuses to find your undeleted order.
