If you have already created your order guides and price lists, but you would like to make some changes, you can edit your 'current' order guide rather than creating a new version of your price list.
Editing Your Existing Order Guides
- Go to Products > Product Management > Order Guide Templates.
- Find your order guide. You will see several new options:

Compare: This allows you to compare your order guide versions.

Current: This option allows you to edit your existing order guide.

New: If you would like to completely replace your current order guide with a new one as of an effective date, this is the option you would use.

- To edit an existing order guide, click Current. For more on the specifics of setting up an order guide price list, please see our section on Creating an Order Guide Pricelist above. Once you have made your desired changes, click Submit Changes to save them.
If you would like to completely replace your order guide with a new one, but you don't want to release the changes until a specific date, you would use the New link. From there, your steps would be exactly the same as setting up a new order guide, so please review the sections above on Creating an Order Guide Pricelist and Approving Your New Order Guide. Be careful not to accidentally replace your current order guide if you all you want to do is make a few small changes!
Assigning Your Order Guide to an Account
For both new and existing customers, order guides are assigned on the account profile. (This is the part of your customer's profile where you save their billing information, rather than their shipping information.) It's possible to create many customers under a single account, all using the same order guide.
New Accounts
- Go to Customers > New Customer.
- Select your new order guide from the dropdown. Fill out all required fields and then submit to save your customer.
If you don't see your order guide here, check that you've selected the correct sales channel and that your order guides have been approved.
Existing Accounts
- Go to Customers > Manage Customers. Search for your customer and click on the account name to jump to the account profile page.
- Click Edit. Select your order guide on the dropdown, then click Submit to save your changes.
You cannot change the order guide assigned to an account if it uses a different currency than the one they are currently using.
Re-assigning Accounts Between Order Guides
In the event you need to reassign a lot of accounts to different order guides, you can do so. This function can only be used if the accounts are all in the same sales channel, and are switching to the same currency of order guide.
- Go to Products > Product Management > Order Guide Templates.
- Under the "No. of Accounts" column, tick the check box beside the order guides you'd like to re-assign.
- Click "Reassign" at the bottom of the section for that Sales Channel.
- From here, you can simply select which accounts you'd like to assign under the order guide. Once complete, you can click "Reassign". A message will appear saying "Accounts have been reassigned" and you will return back to the Order Guide Templates screen.
