Overview
Adding an alternate location to an existing customer location allows you to modify or supplement customer location information within the system.
Instructions
- Navigate to the Organization page and select Locations.
- Select the Store Location the customer is associated with.
- Click View Customer Locations.
- Select the customer to modify.
- Under Alternate Location, enter the alternate address, or enter the Latitude & Longitude, or move the map point to the appropriate location.
- The map point will update accordingly. (Tip: Use Google Maps or similar services to find the exact location. Right-click over a location to obtain latitude and longitude.)
- Click Save to update the location.
Adding a new store with an alternate location:
- Select Locations from the Organization page.
- Choose the Store Location the customer will be associated with.
- Click View Customer Locations.
- Click Add Customer Location.
- Enter the Customer Information, including Name, Address, and Customer Number.
- Click Add Alternate Location and enter the details as described above.
- Provide Contact Information and Receiving Instructions.
- Click Add to finalize the process.
